The industry uses several terms, such as integrated urban water management, integrated water resource management, and One Water to describe an approach to water management that is a departure from the conventional approach. While these terms have been around for several decades, it can be challenging to understand what One Water is and what it means for a community or utility.
Locally, more and more projects are being designed using the One Water approach that enhances economic, community, and environmental impacts. The following spotlights showcase One Water elements of projects in the greater New Braunfels area.
